Morken’s Painting, currently a one man show, is searching for a full time painter/helper to add to the operation.
Position description:
The position is full-time, with 32-40 hours per week guaranteed through the summer, with re-
evaluation come fall based on work lined up. New employee will receive training regardless of painting experience. I have been painting for over 20 years, and my clients choose Morken’s Painting based on my commitment to quality. Your work will be held to a high standard, but you won’t have to figure it out on your own. I am looking for someone who is open and willing to learn.
Compensation:
Starting at $16-$20/hour, starting pay is dependent on experience, but I will reward good work and a good work ethic.
Requirements:
Must be comfortable climbing ladders.
Must be able to stand, kneel, balance, climb, walk, and regularly lift 45+ lb.
Must have reliable transportation, jobs are located in Whatcom and Skagit counties.
Must comply with workplace safety and hygiene standards provided, must be clean, neat, and wear painter whites. Alcohol, tobacco, and drug free workplace.
Education & Experience:
Some previous painting experience is preferred, but applicant will receive training regardless of painting experience. No education requirements.
